Maybe I think for the past month I read more than 10 books..yes 10..I just could not believe it..Some were nice, some were funny.. But yesterday I just came across a novel which gave me goosebumps from time to time.
The Girl on the train by Paula Hawkins. I am not a critic writer at all but when I finished reading the novel I was totally lost in the novel. In fact I am still living in between those chapters.
The story is all about Rachel, A commute who travels daily by train and she keeps noticing a perfect couple. She calls her Jess and Jason. One day she witness an unexpected, terrifying incident. Since then she becomes a part of a mystery which she could not figure out.
I , as the reader could not stop imagining each scene in my head while reading and I was as well suspecting each character and was trying to solve the mystery by myself. But the last chapters were pretty intense and I almost shell shocked to read the end.
This is a must to read novel for sure. Trust me you ll never be the same again after reading this.. Specially when you are traveling by train.
Reviews across the web.
“Trains haven’t been this interesting since Miss Marple”
“As the story evolves, so did my feelings about the characters in this novel. Couldn’t read it fast enough to figure out what was going on!!! Loved it!”
